What if there is something else bigger in life…

Blog

22 Aug

Picture this… coming back from a long day at work, unable to feel relaxed but instead feeling drained?

Have you ever felt overwhelmed and unhappy at the end of the day without knowing why?

Happiness isn’t something you can measure or define, but you can feel it. It is different for everyone yet we all crave one key thing; to feel ALIVE.

As a working professional and/or parent it can be very frustrating to feel out of touch with your environment and disconnected from yourself.

Constantly trying to convince ourselves that “this is the best I can do” or “I have no choice”.

It’s so easy to fill our voids with material and superficial impulses but how long does that satisfaction last? You probably know, not too long as we still feel the same after.

These feelings/thoughts/dissatisfaction are not uncommon and affect people every single day.

Being able to move past these obstacles in our minds and hearts can be very challenging and seem impossible.

As someone who has recently been through these life-changing moments, I can say 2 things:

1-   You are not alone; 2- you always have the choice: stay where you are or move forward.

Being in a routine that we are unhappy with is one of the most difficult habits to break.

With the right mindset, your intention to change, tools and support system, our lives can change in such beautiful way.

What if there is something else bigger in life that feeds our physical, emotional and mental needs that can keep you happy for a long time?

This is not any magical product as real change and happiness can only come from one place: YOU. Or as a wise little Indian guy once said:

“Be the change you want to see in the world.”

― Mahatma Gandhi

You are in control of your own life. It maybe easy to forget as we focus on everything else except our own feelings and needs but now it’s time to make ourselves a priority.

I asked myself so many times in my life why I was not happy and never understood why.

I realized that my belief system governed my life and voided me of digging deep into my heart.

Asking myself why I was where I was and understanding the reasons I took certain decisions in my life was essential to starting this process of self-development and moving toward my happiness.

Anything and everything is possible if you focus on acknowledging and accepting your beliefs, your fears…

Finding solutions are not always easy but with good help, a positive and motivated mindset, you will become much more self-aware and can be more present to yourself and others while navigating this new chapter of your life.

Being able to observe our own self from a bird’s eye view and see the what is and what is not working in our everyday lives is a major stepping stone to change.

We are the creator of how we live our lives. We make conscious choices everyday and it’s time to make the ones that make us feel whole and alive.

If you are willing to follow your heart and want to create and cultivate a way to discover and uncover your happiness and success, I am here for you.

But it all starts with YOU.

“Be miserable. Or motivate yourself. Whatever has to be done, it’s always your choice.”

― Dr Wayne W. Dyer
