Today’s post is the Number 4 of the series of 5.
We’re almost there, at the end of this experiment. The goal is to encourage you to step outside of your comfort zone.

I am really proud of the ones who chose to participate into these challenges and I am grateful for such positive feedback.
As a reminder, my intention with this series of challenges is to raise your awareness on your addiction to social media, mobile devices etc and to understand why.
If this is the first video you see, that’s absolutely not a problem. I only suggest you to look for the first 3 videos, take those challenges and then come back to this one.
As a recap, in yesterday’s video we spoke about how to bring to our conscious mind the real reason we choose to escape into the digital world so much. I can tell you, that’s a huge step. Again, I’m SO proud of you!
As you have been very brave so far, I strongly believe that you will be able to take today’s challenge as well. It takes a lot of courage to see beyond the appearances, but I know you can do it!
In today’s post I want to use a very strong analogy. In my eyes, mobile phones and all these devices that allow us to access the digital world are the new Cocaine, addicting and damaging to our health plus to our connection to ourselves and others – and yet these drugs are legal and sold freely to anyone who wants to join the cult.
Even children can access it, as parents find it easier to accomplish their tasks while children get lost in the world provided by their tablets or phones.
I know it sounds very harsh, but if we think about it on a deeper level, we will realize that the digital world is as addictive as the mentioned drug.
That being said, it’s time for the 4th challenge.
Are you ready to take some time offline and leave your feedback in the comments, once you are back? Then, here it goes.
The main question I would like you to ponder upon for your own sake is this one:
Yesterday challenge helped you to realize what you really wanted beyond the surface when you escape into the digital world, right?
That is the first step. Now here is the additional question:
The digital world prevents you from having, doing and being what?
It’s very important to take the time to answer these questions and give yourselves honest answers. You’ve got this!
To help you, I will use my previous example. Directing my attention on TV prevents me from: having an honest and authentic conversation with my husband, doing something constructive for myself and being connected to my real needs.
In conclusion, it definitively does not help me to fell less alone. I am far from reaching my desires.
Interesting, isn’t?
I will finish today’s video with Albert Einstein’s quote: “The definition of madness is to always do the same thing, and to wait for different results.”
That’s a good one.
Of course, it’s not necessary to say that I would love to hear from you, so if you feel comfortable, please share your experience on this post by sending me a message.
Once again, thank you for reading this post and I’ll see you tomorrow, for the 5th and last post of this series.
With Love,
Fadila
