How did it start?
I went through tough times for years and years. I was working in a field that did not define me and the satisfaction factor decreased gradually. In the same time, my personal life was a mess, as I was going through a divorce, with a one-year-old baby boy to look after.
I was confused, I used to drag myself down, and I compared myself to others. I did not have the slightest idea about how to get over everything!
I started questioning my life. Until I realized that I wasn’t a bad mother – I was carrying ideologies that were not my baggage. And the starting point of my new adventure was the divorce itself.
My journey toward my authentic self
I had to look deep inside myself and discover who I really was. I was lacking that self-awareness that is so much needed for a happy life. The missing piece of puzzle was my authentic self.
I struggled with finding the perfect solution for my life. I wanted something that would transform my path for good. I needed someone or something to change my perspective about my experiences. As a result, I started looking for advice, guidelines and hope.
Through all my searches, I came across the “Listen to your body” coaching program in Canada. As I needed all the help I could get, I decided to give it a chance.
The concept resonated with what I felt, so I began looking into their program more deeply. When I found out that even the vaguest thought is determined by wounds of our souls (such as rejection, abandonment, humiliation, betrayal and injustice), I knew I was doing the right thing. I understood that getting to know myself better would lead to an improved version of myself. That could be the beginning of a better life and a shift in my perceptions.
That happened 9 years ago.
The decision to change my life
Today, I am happy to face challenges with a smile, knowing that every single event of our lives, has a meaning, even though we may not be aware of it.
As for becoming a full-time coach, that is a decision I took in November 2017. Initially I was doing this in parallel with my job in a bank, for several years. I have clearly defined my coaching program and I can now offer the best of me to my clients.
I learned to be grateful for everyone and everything crossing my life’s path. I want to give back to society, by assisting people in their conscious journey towards their authentic selves.
The main goal for my clients is to assist in their journey of self-awareness, to create their own successful stories by changing their perspectives for a better tomorrow.
With love,
Fadila
