Have you ever witnessed the purity and authenticity of a young child,

oh so surprising and astonishing, as they remind us to our own adult reality?

How many times have you smiled, amazed by his spontaneity and creativity?

with his innocent spirit, not polluted by limited beliefs, lives up to his inner self, moment by moment, naturally, without any filters.

The child is the purified and uninhibited version of the adult. He comes into the world, void of all judgments or criticisms. He admits mistakes without judging himself, always living the present moment.
And then, comes the time of change, the time when we start teaching the kid the rules of the society. That’s the moment when authenticity starts to dilute and the kid begins to disconnect from his real self. The moment he starts to please others at the cost of his own individuality.

By doing so, a part of him will be repressed , and this child will continue doing “things” to please others in order to be loved, and finally to become the adult we are today.

It is therefore imperative to be aware that by repressing the child within us, we have lost an important key to our happiness.
